She is a Media Operations Leader who supports stakeholders by enhancing the efficiency of their value chain. She manages operations processes with independence and focus. Cheryl improves business processes and executes projects that guide team members towards achieving optimal outcomes. She is proficient in communication and collaboration. Cheryl played a key role in transitioning CBS News to the digital era.
Cheryl is committed to community service, offering leadership, technical, and marketing support to nonprofits. She mentors youth, promoting education and careers in STEM. Passionate about technology, Cheryl is the founder of Cherwill Designs & Events.
After many years in corporate America, I launched a design and event planning business. I have experience in planning parties and events, working with clients to bring their ideas to life.
I have extensive experience in event and project design, budgeting, planning, and management projects and events. I have managed numerous individuals and ensure that the many details required for implementing successful events and projects are completed on-time and within budget. My background includes technical and IT project management, supported by my education in electrical engineering and an MBA in Finance, combined with my work experience at CBS.
I have planned and managed various events such as weddings, parties, workshops & panels, social events, receptions, fundraising events, and corporate appearances at conferences, including career fair booths. I am skilled in organizing events from start to finish, maintaining composure, and thinking quickly under pressure, acquired through years of working in a fast-paced environment.
